What is Your Motivation?

This is a very important question to ask yourself on a daily basis because having the right motivation and drive will allow you to accomplish any goal that you want in life.

This article’s aim is to give you some tips on motivation, finding out what your exact motivation actually is, and how you can use your motivation to become a winner and accomplish great things.

Motivation: The Hidden Force That Drives You and Allows You to Conquer

Let me tell you a little story about myself…

Growing up, I absolutely HATED working a typical 9 – 5 job. When I say that I hated it, I literally couldn’t stand it.

Why?

Because I always knew growing up that getting a typical and boring 9 – 5 job was NOT the ticket to financial freedom. I knew that you could NEVER get rich working for somebody else. So from the moment when I first got my typical day job, I already knew that I wanted to eventually someday QUIT and do something better, something much greater.

So…

I absolutely HATED my job and that gave me ALL the motivation I needed to seek out a much more greater opportunity. One that could make me LOTS of money and allow me to travel the world. One that would allow me to stay independant and have total absolute FREEDOM.

But there was something else that motivated me even more than that…

Motivation: Taking Action and Leaving Your Comfort Zone

Although I absolutely hated the idea of working a typical 9 – 5 job, there was something else that fueled by motivation even more…

Being forced to take orders and get permission.

If there was ONE thing I hated about working a typical 9 – 5 job, it was taking orders from useless people. And it wasn’t just that…

When it came to working a typical 9 – 5 job, I hated:

  • Having to get permission to go on my lunch break
  • Having to get permission to take a vacation
  • Being forced to get permission to take a few days off to spend time with my family
  • Trading my time for money and living a miserable and very boring life
  • Not being able to do what I wanted when I wanted
  • If I wanted to make more money I had to beg for a raise

This was all of the stuff that I hated about working the typical corporate lifestyle. It absolutely sucked. I was miserable and angry not with just myself but the entire situation and what I had allowed myself to get into.

It was at that point that I became motivated and I knew that something needed to change, something needed to happen…

Use Your Motivation and Anger As A Tool For Something Greater

Working a typical corporate lifestyle taught me a very valuable lesson and one that I will never forget:

Live Your Life With NO Regrets

You see, sometimes you have to learn how to use your motivation and anger as a tool in order to progress in life. You can use your anger and motivation as a fuel to take action and get to work.

Working a lame 9 – 5 job taught me my valuable lesson: That I didn’t want to slave 40 years of my life away in some company and be forced to live paycheck to paycheck.

I wanted freedom, money, and power. In order for me to actually get all of that, I knew that I needed knowledge.

Change Your Mindset, Change Your Life

I wanted out of the typical 9 – 5 lifestyle because I was sick and tired of it. So I began learning and figuring out other ways how I could make money. I used my motivation as fuel to spend hours and hours, days and days, and even months and months just simply studying.

Reading and studying and taking notes. I would stay up all night testing and tweaking the various different methods. I was absolutely determined to make this work. I would say to myself “In the next 6 months I am going to DOUBLE my current income and QUIT my job”.

6 months later, that is exactly what I did.

Motivation.

Drive and Determination: You Either Got It or You Don’t

How driven are you?

Really, how determined are you to become successful?

Because let me be absolutely honest with you: if you are not obsessed, if you are not fully motivated, then you will NEVER accomplish your goals and achieve what you have set out to do.

But what if you aren’t fully driven and determined yet?

What can you exactly do to get that hunger and desire?

Figure out YOUR “Why”.

All you have to do is simply ask yourself WHY you want to achieve this goal.

For me growing up I had 2 major goals:

I wanted to improve my skills with women and I wanted to make LOTS of money and have financial freedom.

That’s it. Those were my ONLY 2 goals.

My “Why’s” for wanting those 2 particular goals for me was simple:

When it came to women, I wanted to have “options” in my dating life, I didn’t want to ever be alone and go WITHOUT sex, and I never wanted to become needy and be forced to CHASE one woman ever again.

For business and my career, I did not want to grow old and STILL be broke working some lame job and trading my time for money. I didn’t want someone else to dictate when I could take a vacation, when I could visit my family, or when I could go to sleep.

For me, my goal was very simple: I wanted FREEDOM.

Freedom to date the women I wanted and freedom to live how and where I wanted. Acquiring freedom was MY motivation. As a matter of fact, that gave me ALL the motivation I needed.

It was that motivation that kept me up all night working on my business and drinking a LOT of coffee. It was that motivation that kept me approaching girl after girl even while I was getting rejected and hearing a bunch of “No’s”. And it was that motivation that eventually drove me to my success because I never quit.

Motivation: It’s what got me further in life than ANYTHING else, allowed me to attract the girls I really wanted, and allowed me to travel the world.
