How to END a Life of Depression and Negative Thinking
Recently, a reader wrote in with the following message:
“Hey, this is a DESPERATE message to Malcolm Thomas about depression,hopelessness,and killing yourself. Long story short I would REALLY appreciate if you could do an article on depression, suicide feeling very very down. ways to battle and conquer and stop it thank you.”
Normally I don’t immediately write articles in response to reader questions but this one deserves my utmost attention and response.
So while I plan on writing an article explaining how you can END a life of depression and negative thinking, I must first confess to you the following:
To be honest, I have NEVER been a person who was depressed.
Call it a factor related to my biology, call it a factor to how I live my life, but either way, I have NEVER been a man who got depressed or constantly thought negative things.
On the contrary, I’ve always been a man who was consistently happy.
So in a way, I will NOT be writing or approaching this topic from EXPERIENCE (which is something that I usually pride myself on) but rather what I do personally to stay POSITIVE and mentally free.
That being said, if you are wanting to learn how you can STOP feeling depressed, STOP experiencing negative thoughts, and START living life and being FREE then consider this article a MUST-READ.
How to END Depression in Your Life for GOOD
Like I said at the beginning of this article, I have NO experience being depressed or constantly thinking negative thoughts however…
I think that I do know some of the causes of it. And more importantly, the BIGGEST ones…
Here is ONE reason why many folks get depressed according to MY opinion:
They spend TOO MUCH time thinking and NOT ENOUGH time taking action
In my opinion this is one of the BIGGEST causes and reasons why so many people get depressed.
They spend too much time being alone, NOT doing any physical or mental activities, and doing THIS causes their mind to wander onto thoughts, many more thoughts, and then…. negative thoughts.
I mean really think about:
If you spend ALL of your free time being all alone, NOT doing anything productive to actually better your life, then what do you believe you will eventually begin thinking about?
Yeah, how your life is horrible, crap, getting destroyed, and you are continuously CHOOSING to do absolutely NOTHING about it.
Instead of starting your own business to improve your financial life, you are choosing to sit at home on your couch all day and watch The Cosby Show re-runs.
Instead of going to the gym and improving your appearance, you are choosing to drink beer every day and eat at McDonald’s.
Instead of traveling the world, meeting new people, and making friends, you are choosing to stay at home every day and cry yourself to sleep… or masturbate every night and watch endless porn.
And honestly, this is all true. You are choosing to do these things if you continue to do them.
You are actively choosing to stay unattractive to women by NEVER leaving your house and REFUSING to talk to them.
You are actively choosing to stay miserable by never leaving your house and becoming more social.
You are actively choosing to stay poor by working a crappy 9-5 job then leaving work and doing the same old unproductive activities.
In other words, you are actively CHOOSING to live a depressing life filled with negative thoughts and THIS is the reason why you are feeling so DEPRESSED in the first place.
You are depressed because you spend TOO MUCH time thinking and NOT ENOUGH time taking action.
If I had to actually define ONE common trait among most folks who are depressed it would be that they spend way too much time sitting around and not really doing nothing.
They don’t really spend any time reading, learning new information, and becoming smarter.
They don’t really spend any time networking with business entrepreneurs, going to social gatherings, or meeting women.
They don’t really spend any time doing SOMETHING that will directly increase their income, VALUE as an employee, or business partner.
In other words, most people who are depressed fail to do ANYTHING that can cause them to become NOT depressed and consistently happy.
BUT WAIT!!!
There is another BIG reason why so many folks out there are currently depressed and this may be something that YOU are currently lacking…
The Secret to NEVER Getting Depressed: Find Your Mission
Most men lack a personal MISSION in life.
What is a personal mission?
Something that you believe you were brought on this earth to personally do.
Something that you are VERY passionate about doing continuously every single day.
Call it a passion, a life calling, something that only you can do, your purpose in life, either way most men lack a mission in life and this is the reason why so many of them today are depressed.
What is MY personal mission in life?
Teaching and helping men improve their lives and become better with women, better at making money, and better at living a more productive and happier life.
I truly consider that my mission in life. And it shows.
I have SEVERAL missions in life and here are my motivations for them:
I HATE Colleges that rip people off and SCAM young men and THIS is what fuels me to write and spread my message.
I HATE older folks lying to younger generations about getting a job and working yourself to death or until you are old and living in a nursing home.
I HATE pick-up artists who scam young and old men, telling them LIES and what they want to hear just to make a few bucks and swindle their money.
I LOVE seeing men improve their lives, QUIT their jobs, ATTRACT hotter women, and have more sex than they ever have in the past.
I LOVE seeing men write in telling me how my website has changed their life for the better and helped them land the dream job that they always wanted, or the girl that they wanted, etc.
This is what drives me to continue working on MY mission. This is what fuels me to continue working on my mission. THIS is what motivates me.
And this is why you will NEVER see me get depressed.
Because I keep myself active, always learning, always interacting with other people, and always trying to GIVE VALUE to enhance other people’s lives.
I do what I do NOT from a place of scarcity but rather from a place of ABUNDANCE.
I GIVE because I know from first-hand experience, that when I do I will ALWAYS end up reaping much more positive things in my life ten-fold.
I am NEVER depressed or thinking negative thoughts because I am always asking myself NOT the question “Why am I so depressed?” but rather “How can I make somebody else’s life better today?”
What can I personally do to make the world a much better place?
What tremendous VALUE can I personally offer to other people?
My mission in life has ALWAYS been to motivate. Words are how I accomplish my task.
I want the readers of this site to feel inspired, empowered, and yes… I want YOU to feel motivated to follow your dreams and live the life that YOU want to lead.
I want you to feel motivated and inspired to make the MOST of your life and feel that you CAN get the best from your life because you have the tools, mindset, resources, and desire needed to accomplish that.

Start a Business, Learn a New Hobby or Skill, and Focus on Improving Other People’s Lives
Yes, the secret to never getting depressed is NOT to constantly focus on you, you, you.
It is to focus on interacting with and helping OTHER people.
It is to learn a new skill and use that trait to find your mission in life and make the world a much better place.
It is to start a new business, make a decent income, solve people’s problems, and offer SO MUCH value that people will begin BEGGING YOU to take their money.
It is to focus on living an interesting fun life, filled with adventure, powerful relationships, and a positive journey.
It is to NEVER focus on the negative but rather focus on the positive.
When you focus on doing ALL of these things, when you fully grasp the true take-away of this message, then feeling depressed will become a thing of the past and feel very difficult and HARD to do.
How could you actually get depressed while you are out interacting with a hot chick and about to have sex with her?
How could you actually get depressed when you are about to become a New York Times #1 best-seller and people are BEGGING to interview you and hang out with you.
How could you ever become depressed when you KNOW that your life is SO great and you can have anything that you want?
You CAN’T. Becoming depressed is only your mind playing tricks on you and it can only work IF you let it.
So don’t let depression and negative thoughts get to you.
Keep staying active and learning new hobbies and skills.
Start a new business or GET that promotion at the job that you love.
Become more social, begin to actively approach more women, and NAIL DOWN that one night stand.
Set goals for yourself, focus on learning and taking action, and be a REAL man.
Getting depressed is only for LOSERS so don’t let yourself become one.
I mean actually think about… your life COULD be worse.
You could have grown up with one arm or NO arms.
You could be living out on the streets right this moment with NO income or family to call.
You could have been born in a third-world country and been discriminated against or even be-headed.
Life is GREAT if you really think about it. It ALWAYS could be worse and it always could be better… but ONLY if you allow it to be…
So yeah, stop being depressed, start making money, dating hotter chicks, learning new skills, traveling the world, and NEVER ever let negative thoughts or negative thinking consume you ever again.
Find your mission in life, END depression, vanish those negative thoughts from your mind, and start getting focused on improving your life.
